Photo A Day #33

Skylar woke me up out of a drunken slumber to see if i wanted to go shoot at Mountsberg Bird Sanctuary. In my hung over haze i accepted his offer, hung up the phone and immediately regretted my decision . So i dragged my ass out of bed and good thing I did because fresh air is a wonderful hangover cure.
Now I have shot here before for my blog and decided I would take a different approach to my shots this time around. I tried to focus on close ups and try for interesting expressions out of the birds; treat it like I was doing head shots. Enjoy!

Photo A Day #32

My friend Leanne Forrester needed someone to shoot today, I offered my services in exchange for hers. She is also doing a photo a day and posting her pics on Facebook. So no Dundas pics today, but I'm sure there will be many more Dundas excursions to come, I just got sick of shooting snow ahahaha! Thanks for your help today Leanne look forward to seeing what pics you snapped!

A Drummer & a DJ! WOW! I can't say enough good things about these two. A very simple concept, yet they rock the house! All the jams you want to hear and some you forgot about but, were damn sure glad to hear again! Anonymous D & DJ ESP (no government names) combine to form a Drummer & a DJ and you do not want to miss their next set coming up soon (it's late and I cant find the date. Damn you new facebook!!!! Ill re-link it when I find it.) . And just to clear up any controversy about "Dundas Week" they are both Dundas cats! There are a lot of very talented people in this city and these are two of them.

Photo A Day #30

Back to "Dundas Week"! I love old architecture and really wanted to shoot the inside as well as the outside of St. Augustines church, but the doors were locked and the office was closed. I hear Sunday is the church's big day so perhaps I'll try then. For now the exterior will have to due for my blogs tour of Dundas.

Photo A Day #29

Damn! I hate when I pigeon hole myself. I know I said that it was "Dundas Week" but I spent the whole day in Brantford. I was in a funk and needed out of my house and found refuge at NiLLa's house listening to records and just vibing out. She told me how I should go shoot the old train station and perhaps some of Brantford's creepy downtown area. Now the weather was getting really bad so the shoot was cut short, but not before I snapped these. I promise "Dundas Week" will continue tomorrow.

Photo A Day #28

This week I have dubbed "Dundas Week"; inspired by my former teacher, Rafael Peixoto Ferreira, who was recently in Dundas doing his photo thing. I will be highlighting famous and not so famous places in my hometown.
Today I bring you a place where the majority of my friends and I grew up, running amuck in the halls and the other place is somewhere I have paid many a parking ticket in my days.
Also, if you have a place you would like me to include this week feel free to drop me a message or comment and I'll do my best to include it. . . who am I kidding, ask and ye shall receive; I'm good like that!

Enjoy!
