What an amazing weekend! I would like to thank everyone for letting me take part in it. A lot of good things are gonna happen this year; NiLLa, Icon and Canadian Winter you guys all rock! I'm gonna keep taking pics so maybe one day you can show your kids how we used to live like rock stars in the Hammer.

Last night at the Casbah was a roaring success! ESRB, Canadian Winter, Rasoul & Hilltop Productions, NiLLa and Icon the Mic K!ng all rocked the house. Thanks to all that came out and showed love! This is just a little taste of last night and I will post the rest somewhere at some point. C'mon, I cant just give it all away at once.

This is NiLLa. She was dubbed by the Ottawa Citizen as a rap poetess and a musician to look out for in 2010. She is a good friend and an even better Hip Hop artist. NiLLa is going to do a lot of big things this year and it all starts this weekend. She is performing tonight at the Casbah @ 10pm with a long list of talented acts (Icon the Mic King, Rasoul & Hilltop Productions, Canadian Winter and the ESRB) she is also opening for Grand Analog tomorrow at Absinthe.

And you guys thought last night was late! Well Im back at it and "it" may or may not involve little Lego men idolizing a giant Lego man. Unfortunately these Lego men don't quite get what they were praying for.

I had grand plans for today's photo but got sidetracked with other things and now I am ten minutes late for Wednesdays post. However, I always say the day is not over until I go to bed and I am clearly not sleeping yet.

I was scrambling to find something to shoot when my friend Eric called me and asked If i wanted to have a beer. I told him I would trade him a beer to take his picture and he graciously accepted. Five minutes into the shoot and Eric declared that he had been working out too much not to share his glorious body with the world, so off his shirt came. The following are two pictures that show two very different sides of Eric. The first being his serious side and the second being the side that was a body double for Lou Ferrigno in the 80's TV show "The Hulk."

My friend Michael Dach and myself decided that since I was moving back home to Dundas from our Toronto apartment it would be a good idea to challenge each other to a photo a day. This seemed like a great way to stay in touch/challenge/encourage ourselves as artists and friends. Mike started his photo a day right and the break of the new year, so I'm showing up a little late to the party, but here we go!

I spent most of the day driving back and forth on York Road by my house because Red Tailed Hawks are everywhere hunting in the bright sun. I got a couple of shots and then decided to venture to Mountsberg Bird Sanctuary and shoot some captive birds since they tend not to fly away right when you see them.
