Deer are funny creatures. They are every elusive, but every now and then they let their presence be known. While still very skittish they manage to hold some what still for a picture or two, inviting you into their world for a brief moment. Ever weary, one of them is always watching you as if looking out for the other. One false move or one snapped branch and they are off like a dart, out of reach and out of sight. And I thought shooting birds was hard.
