Photo A Day # 160

In the past I have credited lots of people with teaching me things about photography and helping to hone my craft. I do not however feel I have ever fully given my father the thanks he deserves. My dad has had and continues to have the largest influence in my photographic career. I remember when I was younger he never had a problem letting me borrow his camera, even if I burned through a whole roll of film and captured nothing. He'd take me to get my pics developed and look through them with me and show me how to improve. Even these days he lets me shoot with his new camera and travel all over with it, having complete faith that i will return it in one piece. He is always encouraging and helps to push me to take better photos. I will admit that almost every time I take a picture I take it in mind that I want to amaze my pops.
So Happy Fathers Day dad! I had a great day hiking and shooting pics with you. Thanks for teaching me all you know and continuing to impart your wisdom to me. You are a truly great man and an even better role model and I thank you for that from the bottom of my heart. I love you.
